LEARNING CONTEXTS

Preschool is the place in which an educational project takes shape, lives and develops.

MORNING

Early morning: arrival and breakfast

Later morning: exploration and research in groups: this is a dense meaningful time, in which children use materials, games, and contexts that may, or may not, have direct adult intervention. The learning contexts proposed by teachers are generated by the opportunities spaces and environments offer and by and the national curriculum. The morning ends with a second meal.

Resting and relaxing: a time for safeguarding children’s individual sleeping hours, the need for rest, and differences between age groups. Here again, individual attention ensures the children’s wellbeing and tranquillity.
